How to change display name in GTalk/Gmail

Changing the name in Gtalk/Gmail is the issue which many people find it difficult to do so. After getting the same query each month by some one or the other, I decided to write the procedure in an article. Well changing the name is not at all difficult but you have to dig around a little in Gmail.

Download Opera & Firefox portable version

The browser war has been growing very rapidly in this past month. Opera’s 9.5 has been really tough for Mozilla’s Firefox 3. Though many users installed Firefox 3 but they are also happy with the new Opera 9.5. If you work on many systems in your college, school or work then you must be using different computers daily. Having a portable browser in your pen drive can lower the risk of security breaches caused by using different browser at different systems.

Google Talk for iPhone

Google today released a new web version of Google Talk Gadget specially designed for Apple’s iPhone. The new version is very comfortable at iPhone as the icons are large enough to click on iPhone. The main page displays the contacts you frequently chat with. Clicking on a contact takes you to the chat window. Also you can change your status message from the new client as well or you can stay in invisible mode.

You can access this iPhone version by pointing your iPhone browser to http://www.google.com/talk. Also you can run this in your browser sidebar as well. Just replace the below URL’s in this trick which we wrote a while ago.

Its a stylish, slim, sleek, shining device featured with two camera’s, a 2.8 VGA touch screen, Windows Mobile 6.1, wifi, 3.5G, internal 4GB memory, etc. HTC is also known for integration of its Touchflow technology & they have integrated Touchflow 3D in the Diamond. HTC has designed this stylish thingy with plans to beat the Apple’s most popular iPhone.
