After the launch of iPhone, the next big question came “iPhone unlocking”. As the the Apple has leaked out the locked version of iPhone, to make AT&T contract go on. The phone is then unlocked by the AT&T services. This was a good measure by Apple to put a stop to the black market of the iPhone (which badly got failed).

However, gadgets fans in other countries or of other network than AT&T are not ready to wait at all. They have been continuously looking up some measures to unlock iPhone. And thus the iPhone Unlocking Competition began.

Now surely those guys who will reveal the procedure to unlock the iPhone will be getting up a good cash and also a notice from Apple Inc. lawyers!

But still guys have given the measures openly! Norwegian Hacker took the best of its courage to finally reveal the “iPhone Unlocking”. The iPhone is not fully hacked but this hack unlocks the iPod & the WiFi Feature.

How he did it?
Jon Lech Johansen the same hacker who wrote the code to break the DVD protection in 1999 has got a windows platform application which can unlock thee iPod & WiFi of the iPhone! You just need to download the Activation Server and then follow the proper instruction given in that file.
