The apple fans be ready to get thrilled. The big company Apple has tied up with the reliance to open Apple stores in India. Overall 10 stores will be opened in India in the year 2007. Well this deal was in rumors from a long time but finally its in front.

The first apple store is going to open in Bangalore just a week before Diwali this year. The others are expected in New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, etc. before 2008. The rumors are also that Reliance will open iStore as a section in their existing Reliance Digital Outlets.

The stock being sent to India is mainly the iPod’s & specially the newly launched iPod Touch. The construction is running on high speeds as most of the sales for Diwali will be made on Dhanteras. The other products will also be there but the main strategy for them is to sell out iPod’s. According to an reliance employee we may have our eyes on the most wanted iPhone by the end of third quarter of 2008!

This will surely bring down the prices of Apple products as no middle person will be making money. So its a good news for we all but grey market vendors have started counting their days!
